Twirting
One more on a fascinating new pickup technique I learned about today from a real Twirting pro. Can’t wait to use it myself tonight!
For the record, I am a “Name Dropper”
Some quick thoughts on Yahoo’s new super awesome fun time cool Social Mojo tool for the Twitterheads.
Might as well go at it left-handed
I really wish I could draw better. There are so many asshole thoughts in my head that just aren’t maximizing their funny potential without an accompanying image. And yes, the weak sauce webcomic I drew earlier was the catalyst for this post.
Nice to know you, Twitter
Having fun watching all the Twitterheads rush to the defense of their service today after Facebook’s game-ending live search and other Twitter-like features arrived this week. Sure, they were right about FB Lite being nothing more than FB for developing countries… but aren’t they ignoring the big picture?
Macho gun-toting games losing their luster
Games with guns, macho male protagonists and “I really wanna be taken seriously by Hollywood” stories are starting to wear thin. Developers, proceed at your own risk, lest ye end up like Grin. And one more thing: You fucking ruined the Bionic Commando brand with that 3-D, Gears of War main character dreadlocks bullshit.
It’s the software, stupid
No offense meant to id’s John Carmack, but his recent comments about the “next console” indirectly led to this short post. Which is this: Why the hell are we talking about new consoles when the present ones, outside Nintendo, haven’t even remotely demonstrated anything “new” outside of polished graphics? Seems very GOP. Just pretend the old mistakes don’t exist, and then launch something new to take their place with pomp and circumstance and a big ol’ Mission Accomplished banner in the background.
