    Nintendo looks like a pirate in comparison to Sony. Ouch.

  2. @gregory: I think control is fine, but it depends on the company and how they do it. Apple and Nintendo for example are famous/infamous for controlling the hardware, software, etc, but it works for them and for their consumers.

    In this case, with Sony, it’s not quite the same: They’re literally removing feature after feature with each OS update. They aren’t explaining themselves very well either, making it much worse.
