Sony, positively brimming with confidence over the looming Move launch:
“Am I expecting a massive day one? Not particularly. We didn’t with EyeToy, either. It went on to be massively successful.”
Remember when Nintendo said the exact same thing about the Wii? And when the hell did EyeToy become “massively successful?!”
I think the EyeToy became pretty successful in Australia but that’s pretty much it. But then again, didn’t Sony say the PSP Go was successful at one point?
Eye Toy was moderatly successful at best.
A 135+ million userbase and an Eye Toy attach ratio of less than 10% does not a “massively successful” make.
