Scummy GameStop acting scummy (but not, apparently, illegally). I only use that store to get used game prices so I can sell old games on eBay, but this is still, well, scummy.

Emotion engine, part 2
Sony loves lofty, eventually retracted or substantially reduced rhetoric, don’t they? Just throw shit out there and then a year later sort of take it all back and pretend they didn’t say it. In any event, didn’t the PS2 have emotions already?
Desperation mode
“Damn it, boys, we have to do something about this 3DS mess! Quick, what’s that show we never exhibit at, ever? TGS! Yeah, let’s do something there. What? I dunno, anything. Anything would be better than what we’ve been doing.”

Clever
The D stands for disappointment.
Boy’s club
It’s really too bad that gaming is still perceived as being the realm of little boys and man children. Then again, with this and this being the marquis titles that the gaming press get their rocks off over, are we really surprised?
Good enough
How ironic that the idea of “good enough”—which had been so lucrative for Nintendo with the DS and Wii—will ultimately be the company’s undoing. At least in the portable market.
Contradictory
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told everyone he was unconcerned with the iPhone (and smartphones in general) in regards to how they might affect Nintendo’s portable sales and that appears to be completely untrue. Weird.
