Nintendo takes a page from the competition it so hoped to distance itself with using the Wii and blames consumers for the 3DS’s lower-than-expected sales. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Homefront review scores hit, and they’re not great. THQ stock price drops 25% almost as soon as the review scores go live. Analyst Michael Pachter hits the newswire to say the two are related.

With apologies to Bill Maher, all future games must involve killing something or disproportionately-enhanced females. Crytek’s over-reported, overblown CryEngine demo told me so when it was advertised as the future of gaming.

Nintendo and third party developers would be doing the entire gaming world a favor if they’d drop the “3D” from all upcoming 3DS titles immediately and without explanation. None is necessary.
