So the Sony PR flak that writes tweets for “Kevin Butler” messed up and broadcast the key to PS3′s heart to the entire world. No worries! Hire this dude and make his commercial a national spot. All will be well.

Parallels
It’s weird. You’d think after the drubbing Nintendo has given the industry over the past five years people would learn. You think they’d see the obvious parallels and refuse to allow history to repeat. And yet…

Weird
Kinect selling well and quickly at retail is “amazing.” Wii’s 5-year dominance and continued success this past Black Friday is some kind of “fluke” or “last gasp.”
Are people really surprised that a brand new new piece of tech with a half a billion dollar marketing campaign is doing well in the first few months? Really? Get back to me in a year.

Oh hey, what’s up Nintendo, circa 1986?
Redemption
The “redesigned” PSP, Monster Hunter 3 Portable Edition. Just what the fledgling portable needed.
Clash of the titans
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but in the long run PlayStation Move will probably sell better than Kinect. Both will be colossal Virtual Boy style failures, mind you, but Move will edge out the controller-less EyeToy clone in the race to the bottom.
