While employed at the BetClic Everest Group I have created a number of social marketing concepts and online promotions that were eventually made into player-facing interactive experiences by our talented design team. These projects run a gamut of genres and channels, including social media, SEO, linkbait, viral and brand-building.
As a Social Media/SEO Program Manager I am directly involved with project conception/brainstorming sessions, establishing KPIs and program ROI, creating and filing Creative briefs, maintaining editorial calendars for freelancers or other content contributors, and contributing copy or design feedback on projects as necessary.
Note: While the banners presented below are in English, all social projects were localized into major European languages (e.g. German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.)
Everest Poker Roulette
Remember Chat Roulette? Well we took that idea and applied it to poker in the Spanish market. Above are two players engaged in a few hands using the software that we created with the help of a third party web development agency in Spain. The game mechanics were simple by design and allowed players to sync up with another poker lover anywhere in the world and play out a few hands, chat or do whatever it was that made Chat Roulette so infamous. You can watch the hand above unfold in real time by following this link or watching the embedded user-created video below:

Facebook Fan Page Management and Community Engagement
I’ve also been responsible for creating, monitoring and engaging our Everest Poker social media presence. This included creating a multilingual monitoring and community engagement network across nine pages, each with its own dedicated Fan Page administrator. I personally trained, advised and monitored these admins, and responded to their issues or assisted with their market-specific social media content strategies as needed.
The gaming landscape in Europe is a challenging one. While the gambling space is heavily regulated and often prohibited from participating on Facebook, we have managed to create and maintain pages in our licensed markets, like France, where we continue to actively promote our brand and communicate with our players. This screen is from our French-language Fan Page, which has more than 9,500 active members (33,000 total for the brand across nine languages). Please note: The Pages are region-locked and inaccessible to U.S. visitors due to current European laws.

Everest Poker Face
The Everest Poker Face is an interactive social media campaign designed by an outside agency to measure a poker player’s “poker face” for signs of emotion. Using a webcam, players would view a series of funny or disturbing images, and the software would measure their facial responses to produce a score. Players would then share this score and a link to the Poker Face app, which was hosted on EverestPoker.com/de. The campaign boosted brand awareness and effectively created viral, user-generated content that reinforced the Everest Poker room as a fun, community-focused online poker room. This interactive app is still live today. Give it a shot.
Skills and Platforms: Facebook app integration, project management, creative copy and conceptual work.
