Cutting room floor
Nintendo delayed the Team Ninja-developed Metroid Other M today. Hopefully this means they’re busy stripping out all the bullshit cutscenes and story filler that would have mucked up an otherwise solid-looking 2.5D title.
Stuck in neutral
Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi, no doubt speaking at the behest of Sony, promises us that Gran Turismo 5 (yet another “PS3-saving” game), is 90% complete.
Problem is it’s been 90% complete for like the last three years.

Square-Enix becomes master of the anti-game release
It’s official. With the vaporware RPG and PS3 “savior” Final Fantasy XIII due out in 2020 or so, and Dragon Quest IX delayed for the DS, Square-Enix simply hates releasing new games.
