SOE, SOL
More security news from Sony, the company that is trying its darnedest to not have any online presence whatsoever by 2012.
Sounds like Sony
Nintendo’s 3DS tagline should be something we’ve seen plenty of times before, just not typically from them: Overprice and under-deliver.
Pains me to say it…
…but I’m going to have an extra $250 in my pocket for the foreseeable future.
Old college try
With the 3DS nearly here and the Kinect selling like gangbusters over the Move, Sony has something it wants to say:
Please, please don’t forget about the PS3! It has 3D!
New rule
With apologies to Bill Maher, all future games must involve killing something or disproportionately-enhanced females. Crytek’s over-reported, overblown CryEngine demo told me so when it was advertised as the future of gaming.
Three duh
Nintendo and third party developers would be doing the entire gaming world a favor if they’d drop the “3D” from all upcoming 3DS titles immediately and without explanation. None is necessary.
Lessons not learned
The video game industry at large would be wise to read—and hopefully learn from, although I’m not optimistic—this GQ article called “The Day the Movies Died.”
Video game sales numbers are down, you see, and there are a heck of a lot of numbers in the “hotly anticipated” titles set to launch in 2011.
Just numbers
“Kevin Butler” should probably stick to advertising.
Name game
Square Enix calls Final Fantasy XIII-2 a number of things in this article. “Worth playing” doesn’t seem to be one of them.
