Mistakes were made

Desperation mode

Good enough
How ironic that the idea of “good enough”—which had been so lucrative for Nintendo with the DS and Wii—will ultimately be the company’s undoing. At least in the portable market.
Contradictory
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told everyone he was unconcerned with the iPhone (and smartphones in general) in regards to how they might affect Nintendo’s portable sales and that appears to be completely untrue. Weird.
Old school
Wii U could have been handheld; was in development the moment GameCube 2.0 went out the door.
Slow burn
Sony and Microsoft: Right the whole time about this slow and steady wins the race thing they started way back in 2006, when Nintendo was kicking their butt?
Brevity
Shorter Nintendo E3 keynote: We’re sorry for all that stuff we did between 2006-2011. Please forgive us.
