Gun violence stole their voices. Working with their families, we used AI to give them back, creating an award-winning digital platform that lets those killed by guns call Congress themselves and demand the change they never lived to see.

Cannes Lion case study.

Joaquin's Call
The Shotline

I worked closely with the families to gather the raw materials of a life lost: home videos, audio, written memories, and social posts. From those deeply personal archives, the team shaped AI voices that felt true to each person and wrote the calls they would place to Congress, grounding every script in the passions, personality, and future gun violence had taken from them.

Akilah's Call
The Shotline

To launch The Shotline, the families, survivors and congressional allies held a press conference on capitol grounds.

Mike's Call
The Shotline

We built The Shotline as a digital advocacy platform where anyone could learn who these victims were, hear the AI-generated calls created in their voices, and send those calls directly to Congress. With just a few clicks and a ZIP code at TheShotline.org, people could repeatedly contact their representatives and turn individual stories into sustained pressure for change.
